Seagulls are one of the most common birds seen on all coasts and probably the most photographed and under-rated.

So a new PB and you've met your goal of ribboning with a seagull. Now what? (By the way, I can't find pigeons easily around here and folks said I should shoot seagulls - we have those by the gallons. But I said I couldn't - those are Wendy's.)

This is such a beautiful image. It was obviously aware of your presence and the pose is wonderful. However, it’s the high key effect that makes this one of my top picks. Well done!

Awesome shot, nice composition too. If this doesn't win a ribbon i'll be very surprised.

The crisp detail and extension of those wings carry a strong impact. 7

Ah, beautiful wing position. I love that the subject is looking to its side towards the photographer. "What's that? You're taking my picture? Of course you are! I'm gorgeous!"

Gorgeous! Black and White is great for this shot! Love the wings like that and that the bird is looking this way. Very nice! 10
Post actions
This is really an excellent image. The composition is fantastic and that's nicely highlighted by the bird looking in your direction for the shot. It also makes a nice black and white, and would be even stronger if the background was a bit darker to really set the bird off against it. This photo is one of my top ten in this challenge... good luck :)
Post actions
that is if you got the bird to pose
Post actions
I love how the bird is looking right at the viewer. Nice detail and the tone is beautiful.
Post actions
Gorgeous composition and detail. Must have been taken by Mary Poppins because it is practically perfect in every way :-)
Post actions
Outstanding. The only question is what colour ribbon this will end up with.

Perfect pose from your model!
