I really wish you would have cropped down from the top on this one. I love negative space, but it doesn't seem to add to the shot. The bird and the barbed wire are wonderful, but the diagonal keeps drawing my eye up and out of the picture. 7 as is -- probably would have been an 8 with a better crop.
(strangely enough, if the pipe didn't have the ring around it from where it's fitted together, I would have liked the negative space. :)
I like the pop of red the bird gives to what is otherwise a black and white photo, i like the line of the fence and the curves of the barbed wire, you've even managed to get a frame here from the pipe in the BG - good work as far as I'm concerned!
