This was a providential shot. I was out with a friend, doing some landscape photography and the sun set on us, I just happened to try a really long expoure and got this, which I then realised I could use for this challenge.
Cropped, several selective colour layers to darken the sky and pop the whites, make the trees a lot nicer colour and correct some strange effect sort of like a negative of the lights in one section of the shot. Hue Sat layer to darken the sky, colour balance layer to make the whole shot a lot less red. Merged visible layers, resized, USM three times, saved for web.
