I liked this a lot. I think I would have cropped out what appears to be a dead leaf in the background (middle-top), but that could be a personal choice. could you have softened the lighting a bit?

Interesting. Nice detail. I like that you shot the back side (at least I think it is). Would give you a 10, but I don't see ferns everyday.
