It was a really windy late afternoon. The small lake, in the open space across the street from my house, was offering up some waves and a fair amount of fowl. Just taking the wide-angle lens with me, I was unsatisfied with the shots I was taking till I included the blossom bench sculpture. Voila!
Using LR3, basic WB & tone adjustments, conversion to B&W, a preset application, and then cropping. I really enjoy the high contrast in this one.

Cool photo. Great tones. The contrast of modern architechture/design vs. natural surroundings is quite cool. I'd give the horizon a bit of a kick, but it's a great photo.
