 Lefty is a well known bull wapiti. He spends his time just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park at MacGregor Lodge. He's called "Lefty" because he has a withered ear on the left side. (Like a boxer's cauliflower ear). So, he is a perfect model for a "half" portrait.
