Didn't see this challenge, but the minute I opened the thumbnail (from the PH thread) I got your literary reference straight away. Wonderful.

Nice use of the pinhole. Like the minimalist feel

Wonderful layers of contrast. A taut pose of curiosity, and just enough in the blurry figure to tickle my own curiosity. Splendid.

very curious indeed. half a mystery almost.

Great photo. The other half of the story coming soon to a challenge near you.

I love the title, and the fact that we have no idea what the incident is. We only see the dog-goat, and feel strangely sympathetic towards its unknown plight... perhaps because it is standing so quizzically, a sort of heroism.

I like this. That is quite the incident.

I really like some of these types of images but this one doesn't work for 'half' for me.

This is all I need. Wow, what a wonderful image.

I'll take the door with the goat. Thank you.

I know this place. It's what I see every time I try to remember something and it flies by too fast for me to catch it.

Very impressionistic. To me it looks like a dog on the snowy bank of a river or lake. Maybe something is in or near the water line? hard to tell.

I like this picture very much. Has an artistic quality about it, but I just can't find the "Half" part. I wish I could give you a higher score, but... 6
