No, no, no this is very poor and totally misses the challenge. No points.

Wow, I had no idea a dragon fly had lips. You already know this is like blow-me-out-of-the-water good. About all I can do is repeat my wow.

Not the most attractive beast at this level of magnification.
Post actions
Now that's a macro. Wowsa... reminds me of a Macro Jacko shot. Nice work
Post actions
Unreal. Amazing. Astounding. Congratulations. Unless everybody is completely "bugged out," this will score well. A 9 from me.
Post actions
I still can't believe what I'm seeing in this image. Splendid, of course.
Post actions
If this does not win it, I will be very surprised. Amazing DOF control, sharpness and color. The eyes remind me of red and golden apples :-) Good luck!
Post actions
An in your face Odanata, yes.....Beautiful!!!
Post actions
Incredible shot, love the detail of the eyes and the color! 9
Post actions
and the winner is .. this shot!
Post actions
Needs a shave :) That is cloooose. Of course this meets the challenge. The DOF on the left of frame is lacking but it's hard to go past the WOW factor. Bugger it...(10)
Post actions
Not very original but a great shot anyway. Great color. And the level of detail is amazing. It is so sharp and you still have so much depth of field for such an extreme close-up. I will come back and see your lens details.
Post actions
wow!!! this is macro....a blue winner :)
Post actions
Now THAT'S a Macro!!!! Excellent colors and Amazing clarity. This must be the beatnik bug.... didn't realize they had whiskers! :-)
Post actions
