This is a photo of a three-way switch for our living room lights and ceiling fan. The round reflected light is from my macro ring light (continuous). Image was darkened via a curves layer. The original pretty much looks the same, except for the brightness.
Kinda looks like a robot, a male version of the Jetson's Rosie.

hahaha. 13 comments so far. none getting it right. It's a power switch. Not a power outlet. A switch is the one with on/off. An outlet is where you plugin the power cords.

I don't know about the color, but it seems like a socket for a three pronged plug of some sort. There seem to be scratch marks on the left from perhaps a screwdriver. Or maybe it's your friendly household robot. :)
