this is a really good image and deserved in my opinion a much higher rank. Strong sense of story. I also am curious about the distortion (which really adds to the image) water? vaseline on the lens? Whatever it works well in this shot.
This is the first image that stopped me in my tracks. Certainly, the reflection/light thing in her hand drew my eye, but the the pp'ing made me wonder - is this a hurricane happening, a blizzard? There is such texture in the air, and delicacy in the tree. LOVE this. Something is definitely afoot here...
