Not overly fond of your border and the photo should be bigger. I'd like a bit more DOF so the front of the flower is in focus. Nice colours, nice flower.

Nice capture. I really like the composition and the play of DOF and colors. Not a fan of the border, as I find it a distraction to the subject. Connection to challenge seems to be a stretch as roses are the flowers typically associated with V day.
