Surprisingly enough I didn't touch the color at all is PS. I set my white balance to incadenscent and then used my flash to get the blue.... I have to admit it was a wonderful mistake. :o)

I am looking to buy a new Digital Camera and wanted to get your professioanl opinion of either the Nikon D200 or the Canon EOS 5D.
I know that the processor is the most important, but what is the Advantage and or disadvantage of either of these Models. What I know is the Canon does have 12.8 MegaPixel and is Full Frame and is suppose to have a better Chip, but I've seen some really nice Colorful Macro Shots with the Nikon D200.
Ultimately, my goal is to incorporate My digital Photos with Digitally Designed Art and enlarge on a LightJet (Requires 150dpi at final size for optimal printing - apparent 4,000dpi)at sizes up to 4'x8'.
Any suggestions on these Cameras or others you might recommed with any info on lenses as well?
Composition (content) Composition is good. Classic subject placement by the rule of thirds, the rest of the frame being filled by the riples. The color is great, the differences in blue intensity adding to the shape of the waves. The use of the flash led to one minor negative aspect: a few blown out patches and points that are a little bit distracting. If you haven't try to bounce the flash on a reflecting surface (white ceiling or white paper) or put a diffuser in front of the flash to get rit of those spots.
Background Nice & soft. :-) Is it water are we looking at Neptune, nice effect. Not nice is the high amount of what appears to be noise in everything but the main subject. Could be the result of using ISO200, but for ISO200 there is a bit too much in my opinion. Have you tried to use one stop wider aperture in combination with ISO100? Should take the noise out.
Camera Work (Technical) See above.
Exposure is good, focus is good, depth of field is good (but you might want to try the wider aperture / slower ISO trick, don't know if that will affect the DOF too much). Sharpness is OK.
Digital Processing (technical) Nothing to mention here.
My opinion Frozen water drop effects are great subjects, good choice and well captured. Nice color.
I don't like the grainy look and the flash blow outs & reflections are a bit distracting.
This is a better angle than the other drop that I saw on this challenge. One queston remains. Why is the Picture grainy. Did you crop it a lot then resize it too big?? The composition of the shot overall is pleasing to the eye.
