Challenge: Everyday Objects (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Canon EOS-10D
Location: New Denmark, NB
Date: Jul 25, 2004
Aperture: F6.7
ISO: 400
Shutter: 1/750 sec
Galleries: Animals, Macro
Date Uploaded: Jul 25, 2004

I know it might not fall into what people see as objects, but I didn't have time to shoot anything else. Flies are pretty common.

I liked the shot so I thought I'd share it. It's a live one too. lol

Couldn't edit out the orange thing on the lower right corner since it's open challenge rules. I don't know what it is, but it looks like he dropped his penis on the petal.

No cropping. Just played with Levels a bit. Sigma 105mm EX Macro lens.

Nice macro of a fly. I find it hard to get them to pose the way I want. Although I did find a couple willing to cooperate for the Macro challenge. 9

Excellent macro of a bee - I believe. Grat use of DoF. Centered composition works fine for this one.

This is one of the most amazing photographs I think I've ever seen!!! I just wish it fit the challenge more, because a fly isn't really an everyday object. I mean, maybe a fly is because you see it all the time. I don't know... I'm torn!!

Humm, I wonder who? Great shot. Beautiful composition, exposure, focus, DOF. Pristine.
The little orange thing is a bit distracting. Couldn't you ask the fly to kick it off?
