 ...thoughts of youth by an aging man. This is a primary Ponderosa Pine in Moraine Park in Rocky Mountain National Park. The windward branches were snapped off in recent years. The prevailing wind humbles everyone and everything. The temperature was -10F at 12:04 PM MST. The wind was gusting to 40 MPH. Fresh snow was billowing off the western mountain range.
