Still in the Scottish Highlands this week, I was out for a walk during a bit of a snow blizzard (it wasn't that bad when I left), and I came across this old ruined building.
This was clearly the window at some point, and it had a perfect view to a clump of trees in the middle of a field. It made me wonder if those trees were planted there intentionally while the building was still in use.
I like this, it is nice. I am from Canada and this is not a blizzard but a mere dusting. I appreciate that this is a blizzard in Scotland having been there and loving it. We were in Scotland during a heat wave and it only hit 27 deg cel - that is a cool summer day to us - extremes exist where we come from.
I like the contrast of big black rectangles in front and the fine lines in the trees. If I took this I would probably stand up just a bit more, just to detach the trees from the brick on the left. Still a superb image.
