I hope some will appreciate that it is not only the rails of the bridge but the light and shadows that should lead one through the image. I was also going to up the iso and reduce the aperture to have a deep DoF but once I laid on that floor (covered in duck poo) I knew I wanted a shallow DoF otherwise my daughter would be lost. And besides, I much prefer this composition even though I'm sure it will probably suffer in the voting as a result of softer lines.
I had every intention of cloning out the sign at the end of the bridge until I realised this is Basic Editing. Glad I didn't make that mistake.
A friend lent me her L-series lense. For years I have only used my kit lens and the shots I have taken (just snaps) has shown me how much difference there is between quality glass and cheap glass. Alas, I probably will not be able to upgrade for many years. But as my wife reminds me the Box Brownie has produced many wonderful images so I should not be blaming my tools if I can't take interesting shots.
Prediction for this image? Hmmm... I personally feel this should be in the low 6's but judging by my recent performances I will be happy if it reaches 5.5xxx.

Good use of the lights to lead the way. Too bad about the shadow on her face. If she could have hold a reflector to light up her face it would be perfect.
