I am not sure how well it communicates Sentinel, but who cares. It is a great shot. Staring out into the vast expanse. Nice job.

just my 2ยข, but I would have put him off to the right a bit more, or cropped it slightly more on the right to make it follow to rule of thirds. I would have also had him stand in a bit more rigid pose, he looks to relaxed to be a sentinel. other than that, nicely done, nice exposure, love the vignette.
