A combination of high winds and cold temperatures encased the West Pierhead Lighthouse in a sheet of ice. I've seen a ton of day shots but very little, if any night shots of this surreal natural event. This reminds me of something from Narnia, or even something out of this world.

probably too much foreground for me...I would have even preferred more sky
