I gave this an 8. I love shots where you don't have a clue what they are first off, and I got a real satisfied sense of "ahhhhhhh" when I saw what it was. I really liked it.
Initially I thought the stuff on the left might have been a fountain or leaves or something, but now I'm not so sure after seeing the colour version. What is it?

another wonderful shot John. Congrats on the gallery and on the brown (I didn't have an entry or you would have had a little more competition for the brown).

these are big ships but they are not my mother
(and you forsook all that prismatic bling for the sake of nightmare and ecstasy)

It's the wheels of your imagination that get the prize here.
This image is, paradoxically, more and less revealing with each passing day.

I wouldn't want to walk through here alone at night. Beautifully eerie. 10

I don't understand this photograph, nor this title: an unexpected bonus that puts you straight into my top ten picks for the challenge. Thank you.

weird mysterious image. it looks like heat actually, even though I suspect it's the opposite.
This goes into my Posthumous Art Gallery

The spew of modern life cannot dull the brilliance of the sun's rays.
