So I got some new (used) flashes in the mail the other day from yo_spiff I had fun testing them out. Here is my little experiment, I used one on the both sides one to light the background and then my new speedilight for the front. I only wish I could have had my front flash a little stronger without causing a shadow on the wall. I think the rooster and the wreath are a little dark, but everytime I increased the strength a shadow would appear on the wall. I still have a lot to learn.
We all do ;) I find lighting set ups get complicated as well. Diffusers and reflectors come in handy, Albert Watson says he always carries a collapsible panel around all the time to whip out and make his magic shots.
