This was taken when the water level in the lake was at it's lowest for the season. 2 weeks later there was a flooding rain that raised the water level by 4 feet! All of the vegetation seen here was underwater and the birds all left for parts unknown.
I love them in various stages of movement. I wouldn't mind the size being compromised (you can always add those black top and bottom frames) to eliminate some of that foreground bokeh.
Wow Scott! This is very nice, and esp with all of them being Great Egrets. The vegetation and the dark water with reflections frame the birds and make them stand out too.
