If you told me about this picture I would tell you that I don't like it, and that's part of what I like about it, except mostly I like it because I like it anyway. Actually, it's because of the light and the composition, which incorporates background elements.

The quality is rough. Blown highlights, missed focus... But with an image as poignant as this, such matters seem trivial. In fact, I'm not sure I'd have it any other way. A top pick from me.
