These are sometimes called Mille Feuiles, loosely translated as a thousand layers. A puff pastry sprinkled with sugar, with a layer of a creme filling and a thin layer of jam towards the bottom. Yummy!
Setup was kitchen table, white plate, overhead flood and a side flood to bring out all the gooey jam :-) Camera on tripod and used mirror lockup. Stacked both the 10x and 4x magnifying filter on the 50mm.

Yum! I like how much details this shows at the edges, although I feel the depth of field is show shallow that I think it's taking away from more of the yummy details that could have been shown.
