thanks for the votes and comments. I'm a bit disappointed where this one finished, I thought it would end up higher than it did. I do like the shot a lot so ultimately that's the most important thing.
I still have the chimp up on my living room wall. If you've never tried doing a "rasterized" shot before, search for "rasterbator". It's a nifty website that will create these huge images that you can then download and print out. (they also have a stand-alone program you can download to your pc based computer.)
For the mac users, you can get a program called PosteRazor (this is what I used) to create your rasterized image.
