Thank you everybody for voting me! My second entry in DPChallenge and I am in the top ten. I choose f2/2 for security reasons: I was searching for a very narrow depth of field but considering that shooting was not easy and I had few attempts (a lot of cars pass along that street and it was dangerously snowing for my camera) I choose 0,4 more than the maximum aperture. I'm glad that some of you appreciated the bluish filter - I choose that one to give a 'cold atmosphere'.
Bye
Alessandro

What an awesome photograph! Love the fact that the subject is wearing dark cloths because it helps the snow that is falling behind him a lot more visible. I wonder what your aperture was here. f/1.8?
There is a quality about this image that reminds me of a rear-projection photo. There is also a 3-D quality created by the snowflakes between us and the subject. Love this. Though it's wintery, there is something very warm about it. Perhaps is very casual strolling stance, and the empty and snowy street.
