I thought of the rumpled bed early in the week... the album was a last minute addition... but as it is... poorly descriptive title, crappy camera, and a lack of blue in the image hurt.
i didn't vote on this image, but allow me to explain it to the people who didn't exactly get it.
the album is actually a 12 inch single, a song called "Lovesong" by The Cure (thus the title of the picture). it's mine, btw. as is the bed.
think about it for a second or two folks. lovesong. an empty, unmade, bed. i know it's not blatantly obvious, not actually being the color blue, but that was NOT the challenge. just because you don't get it, doesn't mean it should get a low score. in fact, there should be points for subtlety, and making one think.
I found your picture to be interesting. I think the composition works well, and i suspected that the thing showing on the pillow was an album or something. However, it was not identifiable, and I think that is what hurt your score. After reading your description, the picture is obvious. It was a great idea, and I look forward to seeing some of your other work.

????? Sorry, but I just don't even know where to start. An empty bed? Is that what I'm looking at? Are you blue because it's empty or because it's sooo small? The pillow blends into the wall too much. The brown blanket seems indistinct. I am soo sorry, but 5 is the best I can go. Swash
