 i shot this in the meadow where the power lines run through the woods behind our home. while the utility easement will remain, the woods will not...they are going to be developed into another suburban neighborhood with apartments and houses. it is very painful, watching these rural woods and farms get slowly chewed up.

Even in thumbnail, this one stood out. Looking at it now, I have to say that I love the intention, the composition, the focus, but lighting keeps this from having serious impact. The white petals have so much shadowing on them that the water droplets appear, at times, to be "bumps" or "growths" on the petals. I would love to see this with more dramatic lighting, I think it could be breathtaking.
