Challenge: John Lennon Song or Lyrics (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D Mark II
Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0 L IS
Location: Seattle
Date: Dec 8, 2010
Aperture: F/8
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/60 sec
Galleries: Emotive, Photo-Impressionism
Date Uploaded: Dec 9, 2010

The Arctic Bldg with it's wonderful art deco walruses in the foreground and the Smith tower to the left. I chose this type of PP to go along with the surreal nature of the classic Beatles song that I feel was quintessential John Lennon. May he rest in peace.

Very dramatic. One of the best of the challenge.

Good subject, but I'm not really liking the extreme contrast between the left building and the sky. It feels unnatural.

Where on earth did you find a walrus?! I will be interested to hear how you did this - it looks almost like a Monty Python cartoon... love the high contrast!

Best image in a great challenge. This is my city and you've shot it better, delivered it better, than I ever have. Congratulations!

Infrared is awesome, although it made that tower in the bg look really odd.

Nice composition. Maybe a bit too much editing on the sky. Almost looks like the building is cut and pasted into the image.

Great tones, nice perspective and theme use. B&W was a nice choice either. I hope you do well.
