Amazing. My impression is that I am a lilliputian climbing up the side of a furry animal that has a couple of sticks stuck in its fur on its back... Beautiful image!

Voted (8 and top three) but never managed to comment. Noble Capra strikes again. Can't believe that folks was fooled (well except for that Ben Spurgeon guy, who is notably easy to fool ... he has, for example, often been deluded into giving me high marks).

This deserved the blue!! So glad it made top 5. One of the few 10's I ever give out.

Fantastic, I'm a fool, although now it makes sense.

AWESOME shot , just awesome. More than a well deserved HM.

Fooled me! I thought it was a dogscape. Does that fall under the art rule, I wonder? Congrats on 4th with this rather unusual take on the challenge. Apparently you fooled more than just me! :-)

Ach du lieber Ziegemensch!

I suspected it might actually be animal fur. It does make a great horizon. Glad to see it got the appreciation it deserved.

Wonderful complementary textures in this.

I'd recognize that goat anywhere!!! No 10 for you because I don't want to get raided, but...

Like a waterfall from the sky. Great shot and nicely processed.

Magnificent. A mythical landscape of a photograph. Not just my favorite in the challenge but my favorite seen on DPC in a long while. 10.

I like how the hay and clouds share some common texture.

The hair of the dog! VERY cool interpretation!

There is something very ominous about this image. Nice processing.

very very nice!! top ten!!

A little tight for a horizon shot. But the flow in the hay is really sweet.

The windblown look of the grass really draws the eye in.

Thought it was a cows back until i spotted the pieces of wood, overall i really like it, its different and fits the challenge perfectly a 9.

This is fantastic. I had a similar idea with a semi-similar scene and I at least know I was correct with my vision, as this is superb, but my execution certainly didn't match this. Glad I decided to enter some other lousy photo, as this would have just put a spotlight on the difference in quality.

I can feel the texture in this phot and my eye goes right to where it is supposed to. Great angle.

Very dramatic and brooding image. I love the texture of the hay. Almost looks like a wolves fur. 7

Oh goodness. This just might be one of my top 3. Love the pov, the textures, and the incredible lighting. Killer image.

OMG!! I love this. It's as if the hay is a hairy animal and the two trees at the top are sticks stuck in it. This is almost surreal. Just awesome. 1=
