Inspired by the posthumous challenge. I have no good horizons around here, but I was intrigued with the idea of creating an image that spoke horizon without actually having a proper landscape horizon in it. Hence this image.
This is a picture of the road in front of my house. The blue/sky area is the pavement and the brown/earth area is the concrete gutter section of the road. The white areas are snow on top of the dead grass coming out of the crack. Shot with a slightly long exposure to get the funky blur. The edit brought out the funky colors which gave a surreal feel of earth and sky. And the title comes straight from the challenge description. Felt it worked well considering that this image appears to be a horizon.
No hopes to score high with this. Hopefully no brown though. Should be interesting to see the reception on this.

I am fond of the sheeps in your painting (if these are clouds, that's fine too). The saturation of the complementing colors works together very well. I would love to learn how to paint like this.
Whatever you say Mr. van Gogh. Seriously cool photo here. I really like the burnt edges; gives it a frame that helps it out yet isn't stodgy or confining.
Please tell me how you did this so I can play also. Excellent.
Seems to me that using the definition of Horizon line as your title, coupled with a very artistic image, that has little visible horizon in it, is a poor combination. I really like the warm earth tones and the look of the image, just not for this challenge. Though I did stare at your image a loong time. 5
