I like the processing and grittiness. I think the lights at the top are an element that gives this one some oomph to move it out of the ordinary into something interesting.

Grainy goodness! This looks suspiciously like a P&S entry, either that or it's just been over sharpened pretty heavily.
Still, I like the gumshoe feel of this image...
