I'm not sure why you chose to remove the blues from this photo. It feels unnatural and strange (not in a good way).

I think this would have been stronger with a blue sky, especially with all the yellow in the bottom of the frame.

The desaturation of the sky does bring out the yellows of the image but doesn’t really work for me. Although it may have been an improvement on the original shot I find myself being drawn away from the lovely soft colours the relatively boring skies.
