 This little statue is at the Old San Miguel Mission in Socorro that I take a lot of pictures of. I suppose this is Saint Michael? Anyway, until recently Mike didn't have a sword; guess it got swiped or something. When they finally replaced his sword, they covered the little alcove he is in with these bars. Now it is nigh impossible to capture the whole scene without something being covered up by the bars.
BTW, the overlay is a page of old writing I got from the LofC.

So much beauty and violence simultaneously, then an overlay modern culture. Great job with the focus and I love the script.

I think I would have just left him without the bars or the sword. I like how your words add to the imprisoned statue.

It's a shame he has to be imprisoned because of vandals. Love the overlay, like he's trapped in a neverending story!
