good title. I like when different forms of wood interact. I also like a composition that makes full use of the real estate, with something to look at in every corner and no single point of focus. This was a contender. 7 from me.
The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it’s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It’s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it’s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it’s the best way to protect your and the other’s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild.
There shouldn't be this much energy and movement in an image of dormancy and decay. It feels as though the tree has reached out and given the house two black eyes. An amazing photograph.
I love the way the branches lead into this fantastic derelict building. The long depth of field is effective with the whole image not being overly processed makes a great shot.
My first impression of this image is that it meets this challenge better than any other photo I have seen so far. Even my own! I think you hit the nail on the head. Great work! 9
Fairly awesome. Love the leading lines of the branches and busted up barn. Excellent processing. So natural, with a hint of something special. Excellent work here.
Wow talk about a setting for a thriller. I love the wide angle. This is outstanding and I think worthy of more than a posthumous ribbon, although getting one is really a notch in one's gun.
