Wild pony on Assateague Island. Took the time to follow this stallion out of the campground where I first saw him until he found a nice bit of grass to munch on instead of trying to forage people food.

Hmm, technically the horses of Assateague and Chincoteague are *only* feral horses - their ancestors were domestic stock. There really are no truly wild horses left except for Prezwalski's horse. But still a good shot! :-)
OHHHH is this the islands where the wild ponies are, like Misty of Chinchoteague (that's gotta be spelled wrong) all excited wanna see more!!!! What a wonderful capture!!
