Quick photo of a nice snack.
Here's the recipe
Preparation:
100 gr. smoked mackerel
3 spoons mayonnaise
1/2 spoon lemon juice
1/2 spoon prepared horseradish
Blend it and keep it cool.
Use: Put it on toast and put a piece of dried tomato on it.

There was an old saying, now gone out of use, of "Holy Mackerel" when expressing astonishment at something.
This might even fit that saying.

So, sort of a fish dip. Crab and shrimp dips I've tried, but never mackerel. It looks surprisingly appealing ;-)
