I have had this shot in my head for some time. I have practiced Yoga for a little over two years now. There are many balance postures "Tree" is one of my favorites. I thought of this shot and have wanted to take it but the right challenge never came along ... until now. Hope this does well. I am trying to set aside time in my life to continue submitting to DPC. I love the challenges and the charging of the creative juices.

Isn't it wonderful when your vision comes to life! Those usually make the best photos, and certainly the most satisfying. This is a great example. Congratulations on your ribbon. I'm happy for you.
This idea is really wonderful. Nice clean subjects, terrific isolated tree. For me, there needs to be just a bit more depth in the tonal range, as this appears a little bit overexposed, and I wish there was just a little more space between the yogi and the tree.
