This was a single exposure, taken mid afternoon while returning from a hike on Mt. Baker's Ptarmigan Ridge. You drive right by this scene on the way down the mountain. I can never resist taking just one more even though I have many!
First try with the new Nik HDR Efex Pro software on a single image using their presets. Thought it did a pretty good job.

I think a wider crop would have been more effective. The mountain feels a bit cramped with so little sky around it. Lovely fall colors and reflection, 6
A darn good shot, but a couple of nitpicks that keep it from being a great one for me.
-Seems cropped a little too tight top and bottom.
-A little too strong in the foliage with the dayglo color. Desaturating the yellows would give it a more realistic appearance.
I would say my nitpicks fall into the personal preferences category, as I don't feel they will be major issues that will hold this back and I expect it to do well.
lovely reflections and colour, the tree in the right of shot look a little muddy as the light is not getting onto them maybe shooting in portrait orientation composing tightly on the mountain and trees would avoid that patch.
