This is a first for me, doing a model shoot. My stepdaughter is a hairstylist and did this girl's hair, so I got invited along as an additional photographer.
I hadn't been expecting to shoot any posed model shots, so I didn't have much lighting gear with me. Enough for some fill flash, however. A single 430EX with a diffuser, triggered with an RF-602 (an inexpensive Ebay trigger, well regarded in the Strobist Flickr group). My voice activated. lightstand (Sarah) stood to the right, at the model's feet, with the flash in hand.
I think I did well for my first effort in this genre, though there is certainly lots of room for improvement.
Anticipated critiques:
-Possibly some undesirable shadows
-Awkward pose and model's expression is somewhat flat.
-Can't see obvious usage of flash
Post-challenge notes:
Well, I thought this might be good for a high 5 or low 6, but it's still not shabby for my first effort at a model shot, and for my not being terribly good with artificial lighting.

Think the shot could have been improved if she was laying on something other than a green background - still nice photo
