This flower looks lavender or purple. If I really stretch my imagination I might, I said might, be able to see blue. AND blue is my favorite color - all shades of blue. This is not a shade of blue I'm familiar with. As for the photo it is a really good photo - nice focus, nice composition, nice cropping, a couple of dead or dying ones on it on the right hand bottom side, but not too bad. Having trouble seeing it meet the challenge of blue. I'll compromise and give you a 6. PTL
challenge -- met technical -- well executed. if you used a flash, you used it well, because you don't get the usual coloration etc. composition -- centered works here. -- gr8photos
