This was taken in Woodstock Vermont. It's known as Sleepy Hollow Farm and is reported to be the country home of gentleman farmer Joe Perry who is the guitarist for Aerosmith.

Beautiful colors...oh and I gave it a 9!!! Quite the amazing place...I think that leaves are strategically placed...lol Like you said the lighting was near perfect (at least for me)...sure would have love to have met you!!! Maybe next time...

This is just beautiful, it looks like a painting, in fact (my mind just blanked) there is a style of a certain painter that does New England scenes like this and Your photo could be one of those paintings!
This is a really nice shot but, understanding that you don't control the weather (and if I'm wrong with that, please give me a call for an exciting business opportunity), I think this shot would have been truly outstanding shot with dappled or intermittent sunlight.
