I swithered whether or not to enter this challenge... wasn't sure what worked well in negative and what didn't.
Soooo, I inverted EVERY photo I've ever entered into the challenges to check and decided that glass looks particularly good as a negative ;-)
Then, I took trial photo's of different colored liquids in different strengths to see what looked best inverted. Decided on pale pink, which becomes a subtle shade of blue when inverted and pale green for the liquid in the bottle which then becomes a nice shade of pale lilac.
Also decided to use tumblers because they looked better inverted than wine glasses.
Must tell you this: I did the photo that day before my husband got in from work and had it on my monitor screen to check it again (and again and again) after my eyes had cooled down.
When he came in he looked at the image on the screen and said "who took that?" I said "I did". He looked incredulously at me and said "YOU? You took that? That's YOUR photo? It's really good!" ;-))
Nice to know I can still surprise him after all these years ;-))
Anyway, many thanks for the comments and the excellent score (6.9 as I write).
