i've never spent so long editting one photo - hope it does alright!.. and for those of you who checked the meaning of the title, I know it doesn't fit! It took me forever to find something "fairytale-like", so I went with the best of what I had found
the shot is taken at the Chinese lantern exibit taking place in the Montreal botanical gardens
this is an infrared photo converted into B&W and then coloured using graduated filters and selections

This image works MUCH better in Fairy Tale than in High Key. An incredible location, and I love the dreaminess of the processing, but having the upper and the bottom portions of the image in different tones of gray doesn't work for me. I like the greenish hue of the bottom half better than the violet tone above. Marvelous detail.
