I'd like to compare this shot with a version that has the focus on the beans, with the hand out of focus. I get the feeling I would prefer on the beans but unless I could compare side by side I'm not sure!
Great concept, and I like the B&W. Only thing I might change is the actual shape or position of the hand... I had to really look at it before I realized that's what it is. Otherwise, I really like it.
I love the grain and t he slight blur of the beans, but I wish the hand were a bit farther away from the camera, with the fingers a little more visible, so it would be easier to see that it's a hand right away.
