echoes of The Sower/Le Semeur, by Jean-Francois Millet. Van Gogh made similar painting. you've hit an archetype with this figure and its energy vis a vis the scene.

Everything about this is "wrong:" underexposed, blurred and yet I SIMPLY ADORE IT!!! LOL I love breaking the rules, especially when they work like this.
