I really do think this was the best in the show, but maybe not so much in Nixter's style. I can't tell you how many times I returned to view it but it was a lot. And I gave it an 8, ultimately. It's just so magical.
I like letting my gaze wander about the image to reveal new details. I like the multiple layered textures. I like the step stones disappearing and reappearing. Oh, and the traveler reflection is so not bad either.
Stunning. There are so many elements that keep me exploring this image. The stone steps lead to the water; the mist leads around the lake, the reflection of the legs leads to the figure, the figure leads to the clearing and tree tops. Fabulous.
