I forget who remarked that no matter where they looked, everyone was using some sort of electronic device (PennyStreet, maybe?) Seems true, though. Anyone read Stephen King's "Cell"? I must admit even I have one and I find myself checking it when I shouldn't. Like when stuck on the 405 in the afternoons...
Anyway, this was shot at Union Station in Los Angeles, on a meet-up with the very lovely and smart Johanna (tanguera), who has a killer shot for this challenge. Though I would love to, I can't channel Nick well. He's my statistically favorite photographer (by quite a margin, actually) and I am incredibly honored to have met the man in person this summer. I love his work and it inspires me routinely, not just for this challenge. But as to whether that translates? Probably not. I think I still shoot like me. :-)
I'm delighted to have had the chance to get out and shoot. Thanks, Johanna - had you not been willing to come out and meet me, I'd probably not have made the trip into town!

Didn't look at this challenge until now. Great image Deb! The subtle patterns on the wall are a lovely backdrop to these two men and the repeating lines of the arm rests.
This is such a great shot of everyday life, and the processing is to die for (and yes Deb, this is advanced editing and can be processed). I love the contrast.
I know! It's AWESOME!!!!! I'm doing a happy dance right now. Fabulous finish, my new friend. I'll go out and shoot you any day. Er, I mean, shoot WITH you. Yeah, that's it!!
