 This is my sister Karen and her Boxer Maggie was trying to get pictures with her and her horse but Maggie was wanting all the attention. I thought this would do better she loved it so did I. I used the Nik Glamour filter and Lighten Darken which caused the noise and soft look. Guess that was a bad idea.

This is sooo much better than the score you got... People are trained on this site to say noise is bad, soft focus is bad... etc. This is a great shot for anyone looking to hire a portrait photographer.

Yellow of the shirt should have been a deeper hue to have more impact.

Very pleasant and emotive. The soft focus and graininess is totally going against the DPC trends. It works well for this photo. Good luck with the mob.
