Challenge: Yellow V (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Nikon D90
Lens: Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f2.8D
Location: My backyard, Nuns Island, Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Date: Aug 19, 2010
Aperture: f/81 equivalent
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/60
Galleries: Animals
Date Uploaded: Aug 20, 2010

This photo was taken in my back yard using:

Nikkor 60mm f2.8d lense
Kenko 36mm extension tube
Kenko 20mm extension tube
Kenko 12mm extension tube
Kenko 1.4X Teleplus MC4
Nikon R1C1 commander kit.
Tripod

With this set up I was able to get approximately 2 times life size since the wasp's head measures about 5mm from top to bottom and fills more than half of the D90's 23.6 mm sensor. This image was not cropped.

f/81 Equivalent is amazing. Suprised you had enough light coming in based on that. Very clear and a super Macro. Congrats on high finish!

amazing capture, the long title isn't really necessary, we can clearly see that from the photo, but still a perfect 10
