I heard thunder a couple of times as I was sitting at my computer but I didn't hear rain. I looked out and there was this pink light cast over us. It was surreal. This was the edge of a thunderstorm just east of here. This was just as the sun went below the horizon so there was some serious color on this cloud. Taken at 16mm focal length. Basically a straight from the camera shot.
I think that it's pretty cool looking when the clouds on the east side of the sky color up like this at sunset. It occurs here in S Florida about once a month, and to this level about once every couple of months. It is beautiful when it happens.
